Service Deposit

Creating Security For Both The Client and Stylist

Prior to securing your appointment, all  clients are required to pay a Non-Refundable deposit. Your deposit will be applied to the service total upon completion of the appointment. After requesting your appointment online, an invoice will be sent to you via email/text within 8 hours. Once your deposit has been processed, your appointment will be approved. If for any reason your appointment is denied, you will not be charged a deposit. Please keep in mind that your deposit is non-refundable. Therefore, if you cancel your appointment you will not be refunded and the deposit will not go towards any future appointments. However, if you reschedule your appointment at least 48 hours prior to the designated time, your deposit will transfer.

Late Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Ensuring a Punctual and Professional Experience

In an effort to make sure that each client is able to book an appointment that is best suited for their schedule, we strictly enforce our Late Cancellation and No-Show policy. If a client cancels within 24 hours of their designated appointment time, they will be charged a fee equal to 50% of their service total. However, we understand that things happen and sometimes they are far more important than your Saturday hair appointment. If that is ever the case, we offer a one-time courtesy. So if you decide to reschedule we will allow you to transfer 25% of that fee to your next appointment. Although we offer some leniency with late cancellations, No-Shows are not accepted. If for any reason a client doesn't show for an appointment and refuses to communicate with the stylist, they will be charged 100% of the service total. This applies to all clients (new and returning).

Late Policy

Ensuring a worry free and fair experience

Let's face it, no matter how much technology we have, sometimes we can't precisely calculate our commute. So for those times, each client is allowed a 10 minute grace period. However, after 10 minutes you will be charged a late fee of $10 and if you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be marked as a No-Show. Here at The Silk Bar, we believe in a fair environment. Therefore, the late policy applies to the stylist as well. If we are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, you will receive $10 off your service total and if we are more than 15 minutes late, your next service of equal or lesser value is free. Your time is as valuable as ours and we will always do everything in our power to prove that.

Repeat Cancellation Policy

If a client cancels and reschedules the same appointment more than twice, there will be a repeat cancellation charge equal to 50% of the service total. The client will also risk being blocked from rebooking in the future. This is all at the discretion of the stylist and certain circumstances may be excused.
